Unica restaurants are part of the best food moments of everyday life, offering quality restaurant, café and catering services - truly as a partner with our customers.
With more than ten restaurants and cafés, we serve almost 7,000 diners every day, mainly on the campuses of the University of Turku and the University of Applied Sciences. We pride ourselves on our responsibility and want to make delicious food that adds well-being to everyday life and flair for occasions.
With our versatile services and flexible solutions, we serve student diners, staff lunches, coffee moments and breakfasts as well as catering services and meeting & events in our unique restaurants.
We have been in operation since 2000 and our main owner is Universtas Oy of the Student Union of the University of Turku, the minority owner is Compass Group FS Finland Oy. Unica restaurants had a turnover of EUR 8.4 million in 2019 and more than 88 people working with us. In other words, we are a local, student-owned, agile operator with the support of one of the world's largest listed companies.
