With excellent equipment the Sigyn Hall offers brilliant settings for all kind of events such as theatre, concerts, meetings, conferences, festive occasions and seminars.
For over 25 years the Sigyn Hall has delighted as atmospheric consert hall. Now the light, sound and video tech is updated to serve modern times needs and after the renovations the Sigyn Hall is better than new.
Along the River Aura, next to the Varvintori square The Sigyn Hall creates atmospheric framework for as well as music shows, festive occasions and also corporate events. With nearly 400 seatings and restaurant services the music hall serves smoothly various event organizers.
The Sigyn Hall is located alongside Turku Music Academy in historical environment inside former rope factory and dockyard hall. Renovations which architecture combined the old and the modern was completed in 1994 by architecture firm Laiho-Pulkkinen-Raunio. The change for use of the concert hall and the music academy has been noted with numerous national and international awards.
Nowadays the Sigyn Hall is praised event arena by visitors, performers and organizers and it accommodates guests and artists from theatre and music shows to international seminars. In 2021 finished wide renovation Sigyn Halls sound, light and video technics were updated to brilliantly meet the needs of modern events as streaming etc. Depending on the size of the stage the hall seats 310–379 guests.
